Is it Possible? Yes!

So Beautiful! Do you know where this is?

We started delivering not too long ago to get out a bit. It’s nice to fill a need. People need deliveries for all sorts of reasons. They are ill or have injuries, no transportation, don’t like the traffic, or just don’t feel like being around other people. Maybe they want to treat themselves or have had a few and decide delivery is right for them.

We are treated very well and meet a lot of people. The Adventure Machine will be out and about for another two months in this and surrounding areas.

A nice man with his teenager asked, “Is it possible? This lifestyle?” As his children leave home he wants to travel in a van. It is not only possible, but one can do deliveries as well as remote work. People are doing it all the time, especially in this economy. There are many wonderful travel channels out there.

One thing I like in starting locally is seeing areas you never have seen before. When people complain about lack of green space, there seems to be plenty. I enjoy driving and meeting new people. There is absolutely no shame in working a gig job. Any lawful employment should be respected, from a fast food worker to a grocery clerk to the PGE worker. I remember shoveling manure in stables as a kid. It is up to the individual to find what they enjoy or could live with. It is sometimes just a means to help get you to where you need to be.

Another great thing is seeing restaurants and food trucks that we never knew were there. We can’t wait to start our first review. We will select the restaurant where we feel the workers and owners went above and beyond what others do. They bag properly and it is obvious the staff love their jobs. I already have the first restaurant selected. I have done two deliveries for them and the owner makes me smile, he is so welcoming and appreciative. The delivery has always been a longer distance with more pay. This shows me that they value this eatery.

We love our side gig and feel useful. We do appreciate and thank you for all the tips. Thank you for loving The Adventure Machine and sharing your stories. It totally makes it worthwhile.

One thing someone asked was if we do Birthdays. We do and can stop by. If you give us a head count we could most definitely make up some goody bags. You can reach us by texting (503) 877-0561.
